Review process

Scientific articles received by the editors pass through the institute of peer-review. Forms of article review: internal (review of manuscripts of articles by members of the editorial board).

  1. The editorial board determines the compliance of the journal profile article with the requirements for design and sends it for review to a specialist, doctor or candidate of science who has a scientific specialization close to the topic of the article and meets the requirements for quality independent review.
  2. The terms of reviewing in each case are determined by the editorial board, taking into account the creation of conditions for the most prompt publication of the article.
  3. If there are comments from the reviewer, the article is returned to the author for revision. If the reviewer has repeated remarks, the article is considered rejected and is not accepted for consideration by the editorial board..
  4. In case of rejection of the article from publication, the editors provide the author with a reasoned refusal.
  5. An article not recommended by the reviewer for publication will not be accepted for reconsideration.
  6. After the decision of the editorial board to admit the article to publication, the editorial board informs the author and indicates the date of publication. The originals of the reviews are stored in the editorial board and editorial board of the scientific journal “Theory and Practice of Physical Culture and Sports” for at least three years.

Open access policy

This journal pursues a policy of immediate open access to published content, supporting the principles of free dissemination of scientific information and global exchange of knowledge for the general social progress.

Editorial ethics

The Journal “Theory and Practice of Physical Culture and Sports” strives for a high standard of editorial ethics:

  1. The Editorial Board follows the recommendations of the World Association of Medical Editors on the principles of ethics of scientific publications.
  2. Conflicts of interest of persons directly or indirectly related to the publication of the article or the data contained in it are resolved in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine in the field of intellectual property.

Presenting an article for publication, author (s):

  1. They agree to place its full text in the public domain on the Internet.
  2. Agree with the recommendations of the World Association of Medical Editors on the principles of ethics of scientific publications.
  3. Indicate whether there is a conflict of interest with other scholars on the subject.

All open access articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License, which allows others to rework, edit, and base articles for non-commercial use. New works must be posted with attribution and distributed on a non-commercial basis, licensing of derivatives on the same terms is not required.
